Sure did! All of our juice was from concentrate. I hated waiting for the chunks of frozen juice to dissolve.

Yes! Getting the goo out of the tube was like an act of congress! And the suction plop noise it made when it finally came loose! Heh. Wow, I'd almost forgotten the concentrated version existed, haven't had it since I was a kid.

@mrbee: yessss!! I'd slide it all around the sides, douse the can with scalding water, chip away at it with a knife....I was quite the impatient child!

Never! I remember in elementary school, teachers would ask students to bring in the leftover roll used to hold the juice, and I never had any to bring so I could never get the extra credit.

Yup we totally did this. At some point we switched to the refrigerated kind like Tropicana.

Yep, I think almost all our juice was from concentrate. We rarely battled it out of the tube though, my mom would always just set it on the counter for an hour or two and then it was thawed enough to come out without a fight

Yes!! I was just thinking about this the other day. We pretty rarely drink OJ, but will get it if we have company staying the night or if someone is sick. But we always buy Tropicana or Simply Orange. I was thinking I felt very bourgeois doing that, though the 6 times a year we buys it probably is about the same as what my mom spent on 52 tubes of OJ, haha.
