We aren't using bottles anymore, should I pack them up for baby #2 or sell/donate them and just buy new ones when we decide to TTC again?
It seems like a weird question to ask haha for some reason I feel they should get continuous use and not be in storage but idk where I got that notion.

I would love to following. Our consignment places around here do not accept used bottles/pacis but I'm not sure I should hold on to them. They are the really cheap bottles anyways and were used quite a bit.

I just listed mine on the classifieds. #2 won't be for awhile and we don't have room to store.

We tossed most of ours. The only ones I saved were the Playtex Ventaire bottles we had. I threw away all nipples and silicone parts. I think those should be purchased new.

My parents saved our glass bottles from 20+ years ago, we just bought new tops. They are fantastic and didn't have any issues being stored.
Plastic though? I guess it would kind of depend on what shape they were in and how long before the next LO. If they are really well used or it will be more than a year or two before using, I'd probably just donate. If they're in good shape, I'd definitely box up and keep, but be prepared to buy new nipples as the silicone may not keep well depending on your storage conditions.

@T.H.O.U.: We have the glass Dr. Browns bottles and since I was a SAHM the first year they are still in prime condition.
@littlebittyhouse: maybe that's why I'm thinking this way... we don't plan to TTC for a few years!

I kept my Born Free (plastic) bottles from DD and reused them for DS. Since he's done with them, I actually just recycled them all yesterday

We are keeping the hard plastic parts of our Dr Browns (bottle, nipple ring, cap, stopper) and tossing the nipples and inner bits.

Even though I heavily used DS's bottles, I will be keeping them for #2. They are Life Factory glass bottles, and I'm sure they will hold up with another kid. I will buy new nipples for them.

I would save them for #2, but toss all the nipples and/or soft/silicone parts and get those new.

In your case bc of the length you're planning on waiting and living in a apt I would sell them.
