One of our labs has not been more than two feet from me today. She literally has crawled into the smallest of spaces to be next to me today.
Did your pets do this during pregnancy? Was there any correlation to when during your pregnancy?

Ummm, one of my cats in particular hasn't left me alone this whole time! She has gotten to be so lovey. She rubs her head against my belly and seriously can't get close enough to me. She's on my lap as I type this, actually!

As my pregnancy goes on, my dogs are getting more and more weird. I'm only 21 weeks now, so I'm curious at how ridiculous they'll get. They weren't around for my last pregnancy.
My tabby cat is also weird around me...it's actually how I knew I was pregnant...she started acting real loving towards me. The other cat is always by my side, so nothing really seems to be different right now.

My big dog followed me closely the day before I went into labour. Even when I woke up in the middle of the night he followed me to the bathroom.

I feel like my pets have been sort of particularly needy throughout so far, and I'm only 17 weeks.

We got our kitten four weeks ago. He's very clingy with me, but he's only 14.5 weeks old. So I don't think it has to do with my pregnancy.

Yes. My dogs were definitly more lovey during my pregnancy. As I got bigger, they got clingy-er! Our dogs are small lap dogs and they would fight for space on my bump. They were actuly snuggling my belly when my water broke, lol!

@MrsH: this!!!! I Also Have Two four legged kids. My boy is a total mamas boy, and my girl is a daddy's girl. Well my girl has become my shadow the last few days. She is beyond clingy and needy. It's too sweet, I can't get mad at them.

My cat followed me around the whole time I was pregnant and slept on my belly at night like a hen laying an egg. So weird!

This is right now...that's my hip on the bottom. I guess my answer is yes lol.

Gray dog has been by my side since the beginning. Probably around 9 weeks I started noticing his obsession with me & my belly. Thus why there are so many pictures of him cuddling the belly. The other animals are more obsessed now that I'm getting further along. But gray dog is always there.

My dog has always been a little clingy, but at 20 weeks, she has turned into a serious mama's girl. She gets so, so anxious when I'm gone, and she follows me everywhere. I keep telling her, we have a long way to go, don't get too crazy yet...
