I did when I had LO (got me into my room super fast).
Just finished pre-registering for baby 2.

Sort of? It was nothing I had to do, the clinic where I got my pre-natal care automatically registered me after my first visit. It was awesome, when we went in all I had to do was tell them my name and DOB at the ER and they took me right to a room.
ETA: We got pre-natal care from a satellite clinic of the hospital where we delivered.

Yep, they like you to be registered before you start the 3rd trimester.

Sorta. We were planning on filling out the pre-reg paperwork but I ended up going to L&D at 20 weeks because I got paranoid I was leaking amniotic fluid (nope, just pee). So I'm already registered from that visit

I did but I did it like two days before my due date because we moved so late in my pregnancy. At the first hospital before we moved, I preregistered at like 20 weeks.

My doctor suggested i do it in January because it will expedite the whole process.

I just did this on Wednesday! We had our hospital tour on Tuesday night and they highly recommended pre-registering so I wouldn't have to answer any questions if I came in there in a hurry.

Yes, I think I did it after my 36w appointment. My MW gave me paperwork and I filled it all out and did something online.

Yes, we had to, the hospital required it. I think most hospitals in Japan make you preregister.

Yes. I did it last week b/c my OB had been telling me to do it for awhile.

Thanks for the reminder - we need to do this for Baby #2!!

Yup, they automatically sent me the paper work at the beginning of my 3rd trimester. It's great there is nothing to fill out when you get there :)!

@chopsuey119: Ok I just did it online! Done and done. Yay!

Yes, I got the registration paperwork at my 24 week appointment at my OB's office, and so I sent it in a couple days later. It'll be interesting to see what that really does for me when I actually go into labor.

Yep! They wanted us to do it before 20 weeks because apparently that's the point where you'll go to l&d instead of the ER if something comes up!

Yes both times super early. My OB gives you the paperwork at your first pre-natal visit and I filled it out shortly after that. It was strange to fill out paperwork knowing that the information might slightly change by the time it was needed.
With DD, the hospital brought me the paperwork I had started (such as the birth certificate form) after I delivered her so that I could finish it. However with DS they brought me blank paperwork and it was the same hospital; but that could have been because they had just switched to EMR system so things were a little less than smooth regarding paperwork (luckily didn't impact my overall care).

I need to do this; just got the paperwork at my 27 week appointment. Although I went to maternity observation (the pregnant ER) at 19 weeks and everything was super quick, so I'm not sure how much more efficient they could be!

Yep, did it online, super easy.
Except when my OB went to schedule my induction, the hospital couldn't find me, but I guess they eventually did? We still had to confirm everything at the admit desk when we got there, but it wasn't more than like 10 min.

Yep! Though they still asked me a thousand and one questions the day I was admitted!!

No but we haven't even decided for sure which hospital we will go to, lots of choices near by.
