Somewhat a spinoff all the book questions and the Baby Sitter's Club series, did anyone read the American Girls series? Who was your favorite girl? Will you introduce your LO to them? Has anyone been to their store?

Oh my word, yes!!! I loved all of the American Girl books when i was growing up. I think my favorites were Molly (I had the doll) and Samantha. Never got to go to the store though... My sister took my nieces last year and they LOVED it. 
I would definitely introduce my little ones to them - I think they are so entertaining, and so educational. They definitely fostered in me an interest of history. I hope they are still relevant when my children get to the appropriate age!

oh yes. I had Samantha. Now she sits on a chair in Liv's room. I loved those books! I live in NYC, so Ive been to the store several times. Its magical in there, especially when going with a little girl (I brought my nieces and little cousin.) I will def introduce Liv when shes old enough!

YUP!! I loved them. I think Kit was my favorite - and I had the Kit doll. I have the Josefina doll too but she wasn't my favorite. She was a gift and I don't think I would have picked her if it'd been up to me. She has awful hair lol!
I liked the Molly books... oh and Felicity!!
haha I liked them all. There are so many more dolls though - it's crazy!!

I like Samantha and Kristen. I wanted a doll so bad, but my parents couldn't afford it. I loved poring over the catalogs though! And I love walking through the American Girl store at the Mall of America. It's amazing the detail they put into those dolls!

I read them some--only the original 4 were out when I was the right age, and I think Samantha was my fav. I remember thinking the books were too short, though.

Loved this. I had Felicity and my best friends had Molly and Addy. We even put on the plays sometimes!

I read all of the books but only had the Samantha doll. I will definitely encourage my LO to read them. I've never been to the store, but cannot wait to take my LO!!!

I read every single one of them from my local library as a kid.
But now they no longer have Felicity and they have a bunch of new ones.

I read all of the original 3, and had the Kirstin doll. My sister had Molly. I think even by the time Felicity came out I was outgrowing it. I'm pretty sure I only read a few in the Felicity series.

I did! I was the biggest fan of all time. I still, to this day, have all my dolls. Twenty three of them!!! And I'm having a boy - wtf am I going to do with all these dolls?? Lol. God I hope I have a girl one day to pass these on to!

I never heard of American Girl until I moved to GA.
Lived in CA all my life.
