I like to get out of the house with baby at least once a day. But with it being the middle of winter it's not like I can do much outside. So I ended up going out to lunch with friends or going to the mall. I feel like my spending is getting a little out of control!! Especially when there is a cute baby girl who needs adorable outfits!! Did you spend a lot of money while you were on maternity leave?

Actually I have been spending less. That could be due to the fact that we are mainly in the house. I can't even remember the last time I paid for gas.

I'm a sahm..... So this is a constant battle for me. I had to find free things that we can do, or if I want to shop ill go to the dollar store so I'm not spending much at all.

I definitely stimulated the economy during maternity leave! Lots of trips to Target, the mall and tons of online shopping!

I am sure I will. Hopefully when I need to get out I will just go to the park and walk since it will be spring.

We spend less on gas cuz dh takes my sedan to work n leaves his expedition gas guzzler w us. I've also been cooking at home a lot more. While our grocery is higher than before. It isn't by much and we def spend a ton less on eatong out...which we did a lot of diring pregnancy! Because the weather is so shitty here I've been really conservative about taking Lo out! At least my stir craziness is saving us $$

I could easily spend $100 every day without even thinking about it.... this is a constant struggle. I've had to really stop myself from picking up anything that crosses my mind, and making lunch dates every second day.
DH is threatening to put me on an allowance! lol! Only 2 more months 'till I'm back to work.

I'm only 5 weeks in and it's bad... I'm keeping amazon.com in business for sure! I blame it partly on HB because every time I read about an item someone else has I have to look it up and realize I must need it too

Yes! I used to fill up our SUV once a month because I carpooled to work but now I drive my car a lot and take LO on play dates and meeting friends so I have to fill up once a week.
I am also cooking more so the grocery bill is higher but we are spending less on eating out. I haven't figured out how much we are saving, if anything.
