We started solids with DD 1 at a week shy of 6 months. We plan to wait for around the same time frame with DD 2. Crazy to think we're a third of the way there!
Did you start solids with #2, 3, etc, earlier or later?

We started both at 6 months, baby led and still a fair amount of purees.
DD took much longer to take to solids than DS. DS chows down so it seems like he has had more variety/real food than DD did at the same age.

DD1 we started around 5.5 months.
DD2 started at 6 months. I'm definitely not as "excited" about it as I was DD1 and more slow going.

I think we will start later (started at 4.5 mis last time) as I won't be as excited to do it!

With DS, I waited till he was 8 months old (6 months adjusted). Not sure what I'll do for baby #2, since hopefully she will not be born premature.

@luckypenny: not as excited this time around either. He's 6.5 months and I've only feed him a handful of times! I feel so lazy.
I started my first at 6 months also.

We will start letting him "taste" around the same time (4.5) but wait until after 6 to really feed. Probably doing more BLW this time due to my laziness.

We started around the same time (5 months) with both girls but DD2 took to it much faster and graduated quickly to eating two bigger meals a day with a variety of foods. This time around it was so much more obvious to me that she was really hungry.
