Something I have thought about from time to time. Did your baby continue to move and press against your belly while you were in labor or did he/she chill out until delivered?

Yes, I do remember that the baby kept moving throughout labor... although it wasn't something I was very focused on, given the extreme pain of the contractions!

My daughter had the hiccups while I was pushing her out. That was weird.

Nope... Not that I remember. He was pretty chill. But at the same time, I had an epidural and tried to take naps whenever I could (especially since I woke with contractions at 1:30 in the morning and checked in at 5!).

I wanted to know this too! I can't remember with my first, I was too focused on getting through contractions. With the few contractions I've had this pregnancy, LO has moved during those and it actually that made them more uncomfortable. I've heard from some people that the movement slows down before labor (if that's the case, I'm not going into labor soon).

I totally can't remember!! Maybe when I was at home but probably not in the hospital. Maybe because I got the epi right away or was in too much pain to notice.

I was wondering this too. I was having (what I think) was some kind of growing pain/pulle muscle feeling in my belly this week and she kept kicking it! It killed.

I don't remember feeling her. But I had an anterior placenta so I usually didn't feel anything strong.

He moved for the first 17 hours until I got the epidural. Then he probably moved, but I couldn't feel it.

Yes, I could feel him moving all over the place during labor, before he was in the birth canal. I didn't feel the last few minutes though, until he crowned.

I can't remember very well, but I think all the contractions kept her pretty chill.

Funny, now that I'm thinking of it I don't recall her movements at all during my entire labor, weird. Too distracted I guess!

I remember feeling him move before I got my epidural. After that I don't think I felt him move but it's all a blur!

I really didn't notice him moving much, it got me a little worried, so I liked keeping the monitor on to make sure he was ok.
