I worked from home the last 5 weeks of pregnancy and took 3.5 months of mat leave with DS.
I think I'm going to take the additional 6 weeks that I didn't take (unpaid) and take a 4-5 month leave in the future!

With DS I worked until my due date(in the office), and took 12 weeks.
With DD I worked until 1 week before my scheduled C-section(so about 38 weeks) 2 days in the office, 3 days at home. I sort of went back at 12 weeks again. I only work from home, and only when I can/am needed. so some weeks I work 10 hours, some 15, some none. -
I had a four month leave after I had DD1, and only a five week leave after DD2.

Longer by 5 weeks. It was too long!

I'll take the full year again. If you've got it flaunt it.

I had 4 months with DS, but then ended up quitting my desk job and WAH. With DD, I took about 4.5 months.

I think I can only take 12 weeks, so I'll be taking the same amount as with #1.

Planning on taking the 12 weeks like I did with #1. If I could take a longer leave with #2, I would!

My leave will be shorter. With D1, I was off for 13 months. With d2, I'll be going back to work when she's 10.5 months.

Shorter - I only took 10 weeks, but that's because my manager let me WFH full time for as long as I needed.

Significantly shorter- with #1 I took 16 weeks, with #2 I took 4 weeks (sort of).
I took the month of March off from onsite work (although still did my work from home and evening study sessions) thinking he would arrive on the earlier end similar to big brother- instead he arrived on his due date, and I returned 2 weeks later. Recovery was super easy the second time around and I was back to normal after a week or so.
