I did, and then my mom pulled me out when I turned 5. She told me to choose: piano, or ballet. Oh, and by the way, I already bought the piano! I had DD in ballet/tap at 2yr, and it did not go well at all. She would stand there and do absolutely nothing. There were some little 2 yr olds who just loved being there and twirling away. So we stopped that, and now she is in gymnastics at 4, which is working really nicely.

Yes! I took ballet, tap, and jazz/hip hop.
I still do lyrical, tap, and jazz/hip hop. I'd like to get back into modern.

I took ballet lessons for many years. I really wish I had stuck with it. I plan on enrolling LO in ballet asap!!!!

ballet and tap mostly, with a little bit of irish tap and jazz - i loved it, and continued with dance through high school and a little into college

Yes, and I loved it! I took ballet from age three through most of high school, was on my high school dance team, and was in a hip hop dance group in college. So of course I think enrolling your LO in dance classes is a great idea, but I'm obviously biased. It's definitely not for everyone though, my younger sister locked herself in her room at age 5 so she wouldn't have to go haha. Needless to say she moved on from dance and ended up playing softball and basketball instead

I did but I was terrible! My mom has pics of my recitals where I was doing something completely different all the time:(. One pic everyone was facing the crowd with arms up and I have my back to the crowd with arms down. I'm sure my mother was mortified!

@PrincessBaby: Aww, that sounds adorable! My mom has this hilarious video from one of my very early ballet classes (probably age 3) where the instructor told us to freestyle and everyone else is sort of halfheartedly shuffling around, but I'm REALLY into it and leaping all over the place, spinning around, and flinging my arms through the air, lol.

@PrincessBaby: haha. I was apparently bossy pants in ballet class. My teachers always had me be the one to lead everyone on and off stage because I kept them all in line! : )

I did. I wish I could take dance classes now.
