@bluestriped bee: I didn't have an FET but after my fresh transfer (Sun) I took the next day off work (Mon) and just relaxed at home. I went back to work on the Tues.

Yep. I always take some time off after transfer.

@mrswin: thanks!
@Leialou: Will you take off just a day or more?
My boss sent me an invite to a meeting on the 29th... The day after my FET, but the FET day could move. I'm going to let her know that I have a procedure on the 28th and that I might have to take the 29th off.

@bluestriped bee: my job is super flexible and I have no official vacation policy. I'm taking a week this time since I have to travel so far. My FET is on a Sunday and I'll go back to work on a Monday. Since my clinic is close to MILs mountain house we are going to go there for a few nights to rest and be pampered.

I did take the next day or two to relax after my transfers. I feel like even if I didn't need the physical break, it was also nice to have the emotional break.
So excited for you - you are getting so close now!!

The day after both transfers, I'm pretty sure we hopped in the car and drove for 4-6 hours! I think it would be nice to take the day, though physically there's probably no reason to. What does your doctor recommend?

I had a fresh transfer. I stayed home that day per my doctor's instructions. I worked from home the following day, as usually.

I normally just took the day of the transfer off, and went back to work the next day. But on a cycle when the day after landed on a weekend, it was really so so so nice to have the extra time off to just chill (not bed rest, but just relaxing, puttering around the house, taking a little stroll, etc.). You've waited so long to get to this point, it would be great if you could give yourself that little gift of an extra relax day, if you have enough vacation days built up. Only a couple of weeks now!

I have not had a FET, but I took the day off after my fresh transfer. For one, I knew I wouldn't be able to focus at work and it was a Friday, so I had a nice long weekend. I am excited that you are getting close!

Great! Thanks everyone. I know for my IUIs, I went back to work but I think having a day off after the FET is a good idea. It would be better if my FET was on a Friday, so I could take advantage of the weekend. We'll see.
