I had ours in the car in case I needed it, I could send DH out to get it

I didn't take ours, but we live 10 mins from the hospital, so I guess DH could have gone to get it if we needed it.

I'm wondering this too! One of my friends was allowed to use it before they tried pitocin to try to regulate her contractions.

Our hospital has them that they let you use while you're there. You might want to ask when you register so you know if you need to bring yours or not

No. They had hospital grade Medela pumps and gave me a whole set of tubes, flanges, and a few bottles to keep when I had to pump to get my supply going. It was great since they work with my at home Medela pump.

Nope. I had the option of renting one while I was there. I didn't need yet another bag with us, we already looked like the Clampetts!!

@MrsTiz: You can ask yours just to be sure but hospitals usually have them and the hospital pumps are usually better, more powerful and more efficient then the ones we buy in the stores. So no need to carry yours in

No, I didn't even consider it, actually. I figured I wouldn't need it until I got home. I could have rented one from the hospital, though, or sent DH 15 minutes home to get mine...wouldn't have been a big deal.

No, I used the hospital grade one there, they gave me new tubes and stuff to use with it (Daughter was in NICU so I had to pump.)
