I still don't consider us to be really trying, just NTNP but my mom knows I am off BC and she's all I really planned on telling. My husband on the other hand, has told a few of our friends because they asked and he didn't know what to say. oooh well!

yep! we always told when ppl asked us, and i did volunteer the info to some girlfriends

Depends... To some people it's a vague "we'd like to start a family soon." To others who have a better idea, they know - a couple girlfriends are either TTC or pregnant so they know. But I don't come right out and say it either. DH's parents know we're TTC but my parents don't and I don't think my sister does either (but might suspect).

I did, but only after about a year and a bit TTC. By that point, I got so fed up with being vague and trying to ignore the "When are you having kids" demands, that I told people who were annoying or asked outright.
