My 4 mth old daughter gets so distracted while nursing! She likes to look around while nursing and it takes her forever to finish eating. She also like to grab my hair, clothes and gold necklace while nursing. So I'm thinking about buying a nursing necklace. Have you used one? Which do you recommend?

Haven't had a need for one yet- but a mommy blogger I read has a Chewbeads necklace and her son loves it. It is actually made out of the stuff bottle nipples are made of - so easy for them to grab/chew

@chopsuey119: It's just a necklace that you can wear to distract your LO while nursing. They also use it for teething. It's supposed to be safe to put in their mouths. I never needed one for D but homegirl is always grabbing my hair, skin, shirt, necklace so I need something to distract her!

I am still pregnant but I bought a chewbeads strand when I was visiting a new cloth diaper store in person and wanted to support them. It is super soft and seems nice!

@banana: @scg00387: Chew beads are really cute but I have long hair and a lot of reviews talked about hair getting caught so I opted not to get them. I hope they work out for you though cuz they are just so cute and happy looking.

@t-mom @banana I can totttally see that with how the beads are, and silicone seems to grab hair. I have short hair so I should be safe but that is a good point!!

@scg00387: that owl is really cute I'm sure LO would have loved to play with that has I seen that at the time. It kills me how much new stuff comes out for babies that I miss.. Almost makes me wanna have another one... Haha not!
