Hellobee Boards

We have one from IKEA (a very basic one) and we love it. It's small and light so we can move it. Right now it's in our bedroom and eventually we can move it into his room.

We just took the front of her crib off. We thought we bought the conversion kit and didn't. Just ordered a mesh netting on Amazon to keep her from falling out. Used that for 4-5 months and then moved her to a queen. She always wanted us to lay in bed with her to read stories and I was over the tight fit.

If you have to buy one and space isn't a concern I would just go right to a twin or full. Check CL!

@LovelyPlum: I think all ikea cribs can convert to toddler beds -- it should have come with a board that replaces one of the long sides. There's also a rail you can get separately to keep them from rolling out in their sleep, it's called Vikram or something like that. We have the Gulliver crib and plan to convert it, add the rail, and use that for awhile longer before getting a whole new bed.
