We have the Graco snugride 30? or 35? that we used with DS. But he grew out of it quickly. We'll probably give my mom that one to use and get the Chicco keyfit for our use for future LO.

I'm planning on using the same car seat for the next LO. We already have it and two bases and it worked well for us for 9 months!

I used the maxi cosi piazzo with J and will use it with DD when she comes. I liked it well enough and she'll be in it less than a year. They will be 20/21 months apart.

I'll be using the same infant car seat for this one. When it's outgrown I'll get a a secondary convertible.

I will definitely use the same one for the first year...the Chicco keyfit). I assume DS will still be in his current one when LO2 needs to move out of the Chicco so will be making a new purchase then.

Heck yes. I'm already having to buy another convertible down the line. No need in getting a new infant seat.

We had the snugride as well.... DD grew out of it so fast! We had to use a friends Chicco carseat once when DD was almost a year and it was awesome! We sold our snugride and will soon purchase a Chicco.

DS had the snugride then moved to the Marathon when we gave DD the snugride.
When DD was ready for the Marathon we moved DS to the Frontier!

My sister gave me hers, so depending on when #2 comes along, our seat will probably be expired, so we will have to get a new one. If it isn't expired I would definitely reuse!

We'll use the same seat, no use buying another one when the first one is still perfectly good.

We will use the same one. We had the Britax Chaperone which was a bit bigger and she grew out of it before a year but at this point its free and we won't buy another one.

@mrsjyw: same exact with us! We have snugride 22 or something? We hate it because you have to tighten/ loosen from the back so we are planning to get a chicco if there is a next time!

Not sure. We have the first years infant one and it is SO HEAVY. But we have the bases and it snaps into the stroller... but we might need a double stroller, so who knows.

Absolutely, we have four carseats and all of them will be have been in heavy use by the time we give them up!

We will. We have the Britax B-safe and we loved it. I think it has a lot of life left in it.

Yep, we got gender neutral on purpose, LO#2 will use the same Britax Chaperone that DD used. We just pulled it out of storage last weekend. Almost time to install it!

Definitely we would. We really liked our Keyfit and chose a neutral color that we could use for any babies. We bought a hot pink convertible for DD since I assume we'd need a second convertible anyway.

We used the same infant carrier with both. When DS outgrew it we bought DD a new convertible to booster and put DS in DD's convertible carseat. We'll likely have to buy another set of just booster but those are cheaper.

We would not be able to, as we've sold the base to the bucket seat and it isn't approved for use in the US anyway (European seat).

Yes, we used the Chicco Keyfit, and just installed it in the car for the next time around with #2. We were able to use it for C's first 11 months and hope to do the same again this time!

Yep, we have the key fit and will use it for LO #2, as long as it hasn't expired. I think it's still good for another 3 years.
We will prob have to buy another convertible seat.

Nope, DD#1 was a hand me down that expired the week I had #2, luckily BRU was having their trade in event so DH bought a new caraway and extra base while I was in the hospital, we went with n the Graco amigos click connect 35

We hired our capsule / infant seat and will hire another one for any future LO's but my Mum kindly purchased our convertible seat for us.
I am tossing up whether or not to buy a second convertible seat that will allow Miss A to rear face longer as she'll probably outgrow the limits on her current seat within the next few months (and we'll need a second convertible seat anyway if we have another child).

Yes. We also have a Graco 30 or 32 and will reuse it. We got a little over a year out of it but mostly kept it in the car towards the end anyway. Why does the Chicco last longer? Does it have a higher height limit? I cant imagine having a 30 pound 1 year old!
