We just mailed in our votes! Since we live overseas, we don't have the option of going to a local voting booth. So no option of waiting til November for us...
Do you vote early, or do you wait for election day?

I was planning on voting absentee since with a November 5th due date, I could be in the hospital on Election Day. However, now that I'll be induced this weekend, I'm planning on voting at my assigned polling place. This will be my first presidential election where I haven't voted absentee (because I was away at college/living overseas).

Early voting starts on October 24th here. I'll likely go vote that week.

I voted as an overseas voter at the end of September. It was my 3rd overseas presidential election vote!

Early voting starts on October 24th for us in our county. I'm going to try to vote early since I'm having surgery a week or so before the Election.

We moved last weekend into a new county so I registered there, however they didn't give me an option for an early ballot so I will be voting on Election Day!

I live in a vote-by-mail county, and my ballot came yesterday! I'll send it in by the end of the month.

I mailed my absentee ballot last week. Our postal service is threatening to strike and I was terrified either my ballot wouldn't get to me or wouldn't get back to the states in time.

PA doesn't allow early voting or "no-excuse" absentee voting. So I'll go on Nov. 8th. I work the weekend before, so I specifically requested the day off so I can go mid-morning and hopefully avoid the before/after work rush hours.

I will probably vote early - my usual voting location has Saturday hours the weekend of Halloween! Sweet! No more hauling a tired toddler to vote after work!

Not yet. I'll vote early at the end of the month.

Arizona allows permanent early voting by mail, so whenever I get my ballot in the mail in the next couple weeks I will immediately fill it out and send it in.

No. I kind of want to because I think the lines will be LONG, but I think I will wait because I love the excitement of election day. Plus, our voting location always has the high schoolers selling orders for holiday pine boughs and wreaths and order civic and non profits selling stuff and that's where I buy those so I think I'll just wait.

I dont think we have early voting - so I'll go Nov 8th...
My polling place seems pretty "calm"...so fingers crossed if I am standing there at 7am it'll be ok...

I can't vote early in my state. I plan to vote as early as I can on Election Day- I want to do my part and then be done with this disturbing election. I have an 8 a.m. call so I plan to vote right after that!

Yup. Another overseas voter here and I faxed in my ballot few days after receiving it

@PinkElephant: That was my due date, 4 years ago, with the last presidential election! I also voted absentee and then he was born 2 days late.
I have not voted yet. The plan is to do so on election day... excited to hopefully bring the LOs with us

Just got my ballot in the mail yesterday! I may wait to drop it off at a polling place because our local polling place is the fire station and my 2-year old had a grand time there in the June election

I just received my vote by mail ballot. I have to do more research on the various local measures and propositions before I send it in though.

I love taking the kids on actual Election Day to see the hubbub of local candidates and volunteers and all the other voters. I'm worried this year that the lines will be crazy though, so I may break tradition and go early.

I like to vote on election day and have done so for every election. Excited to bring the kids to the polls again.

I have to decide. Technically my state doesn't "allow" no-reason absentee voting (I've always said I plan to be out of town) nor do we have early voting. I'm terrified of long lines on Election Day so I'm thinking of getting an absentee ballot for DH and myself. I'm a scofflaw like that.

For the first time ever I live somewhere without early voting, so I have to wait until Nov 8!
