I wore a lot of my brother's old clothes until I was 4. My mom said I was really vocal about wanting girly clothes after I started preschool.

I am the oldest of four kids, and my parents took turns being single parents to us, and we were pretty poor growing up, so we wore a lot of goodwill clothes that were then handed down. I was not a stylish kid by any means. It probably wasn't until middle school that I started getting new clothes consistently and even then, they were "cheap" clothes. It just made me work harder to try and fit in with my personality.

I have two older sisters, so pretty much everything I wore was a hand me down until I got into middle school.

Yep, I got my cousins clothes...my younger cousins also wore them. I remember handing stuff down to them and then seeing them wearing my stuff. It was weird to me to see that, lol.

No. My mom was close to two families with girls a year or two older than me, but all my clothes were new. Maybe you need a few more years between kids for hand me downs? She would donate them after I grew out of them.
