We didn't write ours!

I did! At around 3am the morning of the wedding... I wrote them on index cards! Hubs printed his out in teeny tiny font and taped them to an index card because he has terrible writing.

I wrote them the day of and wrote them on a piece of notebook paper. You can see the paper in a lot of our wedding pictures!

Yep!! We had our officiant hold copies for us and he gave them to us to read/consult at vow time.

We used non traditional ones that we pieced together from various sources. Then as all the guests went to cocktail hour, we took half an hour for ourselves privately (no photog or anything) and read each other private vows. It was my favourite part of the day.

Our officiant did more traditional vows (that we cobbled together from several sources) and then we read vows that we wrote (got inspiration from another bride on Wedding Bee!). Wrote and printed them out about 2am the morning of the wedding

Sort of? We did not each write our own, nor did we write them from scratch. But we did research a bunch of vows we found online and frankenstein'd together vows for us both to say that we liked. We did not memorize them, the pastor did the read/repeat thing she would've done with the standard vows.

Yes, we did. We gave a copy to our officiant in case we forgot what we wanted to say, but we didn't need them. They were pretty short, but I liked that they were personal.

yup we wrote them but we read them out of a poem book that wrote in since high school.

We had some traditional ones, and then each wrote something for each other that we read - no way would I have been able to memorize it!

We stuck with the traditional ones. I love them and their meaning.
