We haven't tried it yet. My pediatrician said to hold off until LO is 5.5-6 months old, but I really think she would take to rice cereal well. She is taking quite a bit of formula these days and she's always staring at me when I eat. I might have to check if we can get her started a little earlier.

@meredithNYC: Ours said yes at 4 months so we started this past week....nothing else yet. He knew exactly what to do and is very aggressive at meal time now : )

I wish she liked it! It's a battle trying to get her to finish even 1 TB.

Nope. Well, we started with oatmeal which he didn't like then tried a tiny bit of rice cereal which he refused. He loves his Greek yogurt and cottage cheese though!

We skipped rice cereal and tried infant oatmeal instead. She HATED it. She hated any purees or mushes. Thats why we did BLW. Even now she wont eat applesauce or those squeezy fruit pouches. She hates the texture. I think she gets that from me lol

Haha I guess my baby is in the minority! Maybe he is just bored of milk....
