DH just finished his bottle of 'fertility blend' and i'm debating ordering another bottle. i'm not sure if they help or not!
did your DH take any supplements while TTC? do you think they helped?

The only thing I can get him to take is a B complex with Vitamin C. Both B12 and Vitamin C are supposed to help with the quality of their swimmers.

I got him to add D3 and Omega 3 (with lots of DHA) per my acupuncturist's recommendation. Otherwise, he loves salad and eats pretty healthy, so I'm not too concerned.

My DH took three months worth of gulf coast fertile vitamins. They didn't raise his sperm count any so he stopped.

DH took fertilaid for men and motility boost. He started taking them about two months before his SA, so I can't tell you if it really helped, but I can tell you his numbers were fabulous! And given his age, I was a bit worried they wouldn't be.

Hubby took a fruit n veggie supplement because he doesn't eat either, but I don't think it affected us getting our BFP.

I tried to get him to take a basic vitamin. It turned his pee yellow, and even though I explained to him why this happened, he has refused to take it anymore.

My DH started taking Fertility Blend after his 2 terrible SAs (10% motility) and I switched him to Fertilaid because the vitamin content was better. His subsequent SAs were much better and he never had low motility again.

@marionberry: did he take them in addition to a regular multi vitamin? DH takes a vegan joint supplement, SAM-E, multi vitamin, the fertility blend, and another one that is escaping me at the moment. he eats well (except for his excessive whey protein intake, so many of those contain high levels of heavy metals, ugh)

@spaniellove: wow! how great that you could really look at his numbers to evaluate what was working! i'm glad he saw an improvement! so you would suggest fertilaid over fertility blend?

@mrs. bird: That was my preference - you can compare the ingredients of the two to see which you like better!

@mrs. bird: Nope, he was only taking those two, since they say fertilaid works as a regular multivitamin. He did go off any of his prescription meds that noted any effect on sperm while we tried though (usually blood pressure meds).
