I am just curious about when your labor began if you weren't induced. Thought it would be fun to see! Also, I'd love to know if it was your first baby ... second ... third ... etc.

39w+ would count as week 40 right? Labor started a couple days before 40w exactly and I gave birth on my due date!

My labor started naturally at 39w, 5d and he was born via C-section at 39w, 6d. First baby!

It started naturally three days before my due date. I labored for 14 hours. LO arrived two days before my due date.

I think I voted wrong...
I was 41+3 when early labor started, 41+4 when active labor started, & 41+5 for about 10 minutes when I delivered. Totally unmedicated.

40 weeks 3 days according to my early ultrasound (would have been more like 41 weeks 3 days according to LMP.)
That was for my first pregnancy.

According to the Dr. and Ultrasound tech's EDD, it was 39 weeks exactly. According to when I was pretty sure I conceived, it was 40 weeks 1 day.

I was (unsuccessfully) induced at 42 weeks. DD was born at 42w1d. She was just way too comfy in there!

@googly-eyes: That's awesome! Not a lot of people give birth on their EDD, so that's pretty cool.

@VEGMAMA: I'm pretty convinced that all of the walking I did leading up to my labor caused it to start early. I also ignored all of the signs of early labor. I didn't think anything of the mild cramping I had during the day until it got to the point where I couldn't sit still.

@VEGMAMA: Yeah it was actually the day we were hoping for, although I was also not thinking labor would stretch from when it did all the way to my edd! I probably would have given birth the night before if the dr had broken my water.

I went into labor the night before my due date and she was here on her due date.

My first (and only) LO made his appearance at 38 weeks and 5 days!
@cascademom: I went on a super long walk the day before my water broke and I often wonder if that's what spurred it on as well.

I went into labor at 39w4d and had him the next afternoon.

@VEGMAMA: Thanks! I'm not TOO impatient yet, just wake up every morning with the big question "is today the day?"

I'm 38w3d. It would be nice to vote on this within a week! (If that is the case, oh, I will totally bump this thread. Yes, I will. )

@Espion: I will bump it too! I would love to revisit this thread next week (or hell, tomorrow!) with an answer.
I'm 39 weeks 3 days and would be totally fine with going into labor today!

@grizz: @Espion: The number of "during week 39" responses are giving me hope!

@Revel: @Espion: I may or may not have done a little fist pump when I saw all the week 39 answers

@grizz: @Revel: Ha! Seriously. I keep refreshing this thread a little more obsessively than I should.
