With DS, I got up in the middle of the night for my routine potty break, and sat on the toilet and got a gush of my water breaking.
Today I was being goofy with him, and we were playing some old school "rap" (Whoop There It Is) and I was thinking how funny it would be if that was the moment I went into labor.

My water broke after using the bathroom in the morning. I was washing my hands and felt a gush of water.

I was hanging out at home because I had a feeling I was going to be in labor soon. I woke up all crampy that day.

Trying to sleep. When active labor started later that evening I was eating Chinese food with my mom and DH (big mistake) bouncing on the yoga ball and watching The Stand.

Sitting on the couch watching an Ohio State basketball game and finishing a work assignment so I could start maternity leave the next week. My husband had just started taking the Christmas tree down when I dropped a pen and my water broke. When I opened the ornament box this past Christmas, it suddenly made sense why all the ornaments weren't wrapped up.

Packing up yarn in space bags for storage and eating pizza after work. I couldn't get comfortable while eating. I thought I was having some diarrhea problems, but the pain got worse. Went to the hospital a couple hours later and was 4cm at that point.

Sitting on the floor, trying to convince the dog to eat, since he hadn't eaten all day and was acting strange, when my water broke. I guess he knew something was up!

Getting ready for bed - I felt a pop and a gush and had a huge contraction, went to check my underwear in the toilet and lost more water in the toilet, stood up and lost water all over the floor lol.

Woke up at my normal time in the morning, went to the bathroom and saw the bloody show, followed immediately by the mildest cramps (contractions) ever. Proper labour kicked in that evening, waking me out of a sound sleep with good contractions every ten minutes.

I was straightening my hair and putting on makeup when my water broke. It was the last Friday before my due date, and DH and I were supposed to have our last date night. At least my hair looked good in the hospital pics 
I'm glad that it wasn't a few hours later while we were out, since it was a big gush like in the movies.

I was sleeping and woke up to use the bathroom and realized that my water broke - it wasn't a huge gush though so I was unsure at first and tried to lie back down for awhile...

I haven't had the privilege yet, but my mum went into labour with my youngest sister when we were in a fast food restaurant! She knew her labours were long and we did our monthly grocery shop before dad dropped us at grandma's the next town over!

I was turning over in bed at 6:45am when I felt a popping sensation. It was my mucus plug falling out and my contractions started right then.
