I tried a lot. Spicy food, Chinese, walking, etc. But she was just waiting for my due date.

Mmmmmm...pineapple. I'm overdue and my Dr. has already scheduled an induction for next week. I just want her to arrive before the drugs!!!

Walking and sex have been increasing my contractions the past couple days. I've heard eggplant parmigiana can do it too- but hey, I'm just looking for an excuse not to cook tomorrow
I also just got a box of red raspberry leaf tea, gonna try that one out next week.

I've been trying to have more sex to help it happen naturally before 40 weeks... I'm still 35 weeks though, so it's pretty soon. My friend is supposed to be bringing my raspberry tea this week and I'll be adding that in as well as more walking hopefully. I've heard great things about squats too, so I'm trying to do about 20/day.

I got a list of stuff from the midwives at the hospital. I didn't try any of their concoctions though, but I did consider castor oil at one point. Acupuncture worked for me.

I swear that all the extra walking and the extra cups of red raspberry leaf tea helped my labour along. I drank it like there was no tomorrow and within a day I had contractions, so I would highly recommend giving it a try!

my prenatal yoga instructor whose also a certified doula mentioned taking primrose oil helps to induce labor to one of the ladies in my class whose due date was today.

The day I took my first dose of evening primrose (at 39 weeks, 5 days), I went into labor.... My doula thinks it was a coincidence though.
I did do a ton of walking too. A ton. With my first baby, I was on my feet for practically 13-14 hours straight (at 38 weeks, 3 days). It was for work (busy ICU nurse shift), but I swear that's what put me into labor the next afternoon.
I did drink red rasp leaf tea starting at 32 weeks to tone the uterus (supposed to make contractions more efficient)... I had very intense contractions and a 6 hr labor from start to finish! Don't know if it was the tea, the fact that it was #2, or both, but I do recommend it!

Just curious, where did you ladies get the red raspberry leaf tea?
