After your miscarriage, did your cycles go back to the way it was before? Or did it change? If it was irregular, did it get "fixed"?
I've had irregular cycles before and I'm wondering what to expect.

My first loss made my cycles very crazy, but the second time I got pregnant right away.

After my miscarriage I started having mid cycle spotting which I had never had before. But it was only for two cycles (we took one off and then got pg when we tried the next cycle) so I don't know if that would have continued long term.

@stiletto_mom: Mine went back to how it was. Took about 8 weeks post D&C to get my first period.

my cycle went back to normal pretty quickly except that before the miscarriage, my cycle was 32 days with a 10-11 day luteal phase, and after, my cycle was the same length but my luteal phase was 13-14 days. So i guess more normal? It stayed that way for 8 months until I got pregnant again (we weren't trying during that time but I was tracking).

I would say that mine stayed about the same. I've always had longer, irregular cycles with a short (11 day) luteal and I still do. They did get longer after having my LO (they went from 28-33 days to more like 32-35 days). I've had two miscarriages since then (one at 12 weeks, one at 4) and in between those, my cycles have been 34, 34, 33, and 30 days. The 30 day one is the shortest I've had in like 3 years so I'm hoping maybe they are getting shorter again.

I had two different experiences. After my first miscarriage, I developed a short luteal phase and I had low progesterone and things were all screwed up for awhile. After my second miscarriage, I felt like things automatically went back to the old normal (i.e. how they were prior to the first miscarriage).

My first loss before my son, I had a really long cycle, took 6 weeks to get my period. My other losses after my second son, my cycles were normal after the bleeding stopped.

My first cycle came about 4 weeks after my MC. I bleed for about 2-3 weeks with the MC, had a week or so off, and then it started up again. My cycles were pretty normal after that. The first one might have been a little lighter, and I had one that was a lot lighter. I started going to acupuncture not long afterwards though, and that seamed to benefit my cycles a lot.

My first loss my cycle was the same length, but I had mid cycle spotting and spotting several days before af arrived.
But pretty sure I started ovulating right away. Took 5 cycles to get pregnant after that loss - that pregnancy was a sticky baby.
My second loss was in Nov., after the bleeding stopped, my 2 cycles since then have been 5 days longer than they used to be and no spotting.

My cycles went back to their "normal" which was always a little wacky. The month after my last mc I went on progesterone though with made my cycles picture perfect.
