First of all, I used "stutter" as a noun...But is it only a verb?
Anyway, my friend's toddler is 3.5 years old and has suddenly started to stutter.
I'm just wondering if it's a phase or if it's the beginning of something.
Did you or your SO (or anyone you know) ever stutter?

My nephew will be 4 at the end of July & developed a stutter at about 3.5 also. It did worry me, but I asked a friend who is a speech pathologist and she said its common at that age. If it hasn't gone away by 5 or the start of kindergarten, they should consider starting speech therapy.
