I didn't because my body wasn't really in bikini shape before I got pregnant. If it had been, I definitely would have worn a bikini. I bought a maternity tankini instead. It's cute, so I didn't mind the purchase.

At 26w, yes
At the 33+5 weeks I am -NO.
I think up until 30 weeks I would have said yes because it was a cute, round bump. But now, I've got this super dark linea negra and my stomach has dropped in preparation for delivery and it just isn't that "super cute" belly anymore. It is just: big.
So, wear it while you can!

I absolutely did! It felt so good to not be confined by clothes! And if I had any discomfort about what anyone thought it absolutely dissolved once I hit the water- it felt so good. Do it!

I would if it was the right time where I had a cute bump! Most of the summer I've just had this 'big lunch' belly so I didn't feel comfortable with my belly out. Maybe on our babymoon in October though.

I would if I had a cute pregnant body! haha. I wore a Tankini to the beach a couple months ago.

Personally, I feel more confident in my pregnant body than I did pre-pregnancy. I don't have to worry about sucking my belly in, bc everything's pulled so tight! I probably wouldn't wear one hugely pregnant, but 26 weeks is totally fine, in my book. I wouldn't think twice if I saw a pregnant girl in a bikini. Well, actually, I'd probably think "how cute!".

Nope. I wore a bikini one summer of my life to get an even tan before my wedding. I would never wear one pregnant. I'm not a big fan of women who do wear them while pregnant. I feel like they're trying to show off the belly or something.

I love bikinis on pregnant women. So cute.
@mediagirl: Ummm why shouldn't you show off your belly?
Poor Tori spelling got so much flack for wearing a bikini, but she freaking rocked it.

I just did this weekend! In Vegas, no less! (At a non-Dance Party-type pool.) It was scary and I felt a little uncomfortable, but it was worth it. I'm pretty big and obviously pregnant in clothes, but I'm not sure if it translates to a bikini or not...

I did all through my last pregnancy. I couldn't find a maternity suit that fit, so it was just the easiest that way.

@hellobeeboston: You look AMAZING!!!! SOOOO cute!
@FutureMrsMcK: You rocked that bikini! I can't believe that was a couple of months ago! It seems like you JUST went on your baby moon!!!
@birdofafeather: I love that bikini and you look awesome!!!! You totally look pregnant - not beer-gutty at all! Super cute!!!
I'm definitely going to flaunt my belly in that bikini....So what that I'll be surrounded by beautiful Miami people and will probably get stared at...I AM proud of my bump! I'm going to show her off on Saturday!

@JHoller25: Well, that's *2* votes for a thong . . .
and p.s. you are one of the beautiful Miami people

@anonysquire: Thank you!!! I shudder to think of my butt in a thong right now (or ever?)....I basically avoid the mirror when not fully clothed but it ain't good- that I'm sure of! LOL!
@MsLipGloss: You are so sweet! Thank you!

In honor of this thread, I actually tried on one of my bikinis last night to see if it would work for my swimming plans this weekend. DH actually thought I looked great and thought the bikini made me look better than the one piece I have. Might be sporting the bump after all!

@highwire: Whoop whoop! I think you should! Celebrate the bump!!!

I wore a bikini without even thinking twice about it. I loved my pregnant belly, and I didn't want to spend extra $ on a maternity bathing suit or tankini. I was pretty big so I got a few stares, but I didn't mind.

No, because my bikinis were all very skimpy. No triangle top would have held in the pregnancy boobs I had.
