I just found out next week on LO's last day of school, they will be having a little graduation at the end of the day. I think LO will really enjoy that and it will be fun to be a part of.
Did your LO have an end of the year graduation?

Just at the very end of preschool before they go to Kindergarten. They invite the upcoming PreK kids (so the 3 year olds) to participate for one little song and watch so they get to see what they do next year.

Her school is having a moving up/graduation ceremony this Fri night. There are two days of class the week after.

Yes, they have it at the elementary school located next door. LO will be graduating Spring of 2018!

LOs is this Friday. They are calling it an End of Year Celebration.

Yes. We were going to be out of town for the actual celebration, so LO's school did something for just him one day. It was super cute.

No, the handbook says that they see preschool as the beginning of formal education and not the end. They did a family day with a scavenger hunt that was really fun though.

No preschool graduation for us. I think it can be excessive and not necessary.

they do have one, but it's basically the parents come into the classroom and the kids sing a bunch of songs they've learned, and then have snacks and socialize. an end of the year kind of thing. i'm looking forward to it! i love seeing him in his classroom.

Yes LO just moved up to pre-k and they had pictures of the graduation for the kids going to kinder in the fall. They do it on s Saturday morning and have caps and gowns.

They sang a few songs and were presented a laminated certificate. That's it, no cap and gown.

She'll have a graduation next year before she heads to kindergarten! From what I've heard, her preschool has an awesome graduation and family event!

DD had one, but we didn't attend.

Preschool doesn't but Pre-K does.

4 year olds and JK did a song all wearing white, then cap and gown ceremony with lei and diploma from the teacher. Afterward, all the families bombarded their kids with leis etc. and we picked up goodie bags from the classmates. Then we had a potluck and went home early that day. At night, we had another potluck/movie night with the families.

They had a "closing ceremony", complete with singing on stage, but there wasn't an actual graduation.
