I had some Vicodin after my knee surgery and I couldn't stand to take it because it always makes me itch. I told the doctor but they didn't seem too concerned.
Does it make you itch?

Yup! It's a very common side effect of opiates.

Yes! I'm currently taking painkillers for an oral surgery and have been itching my nose constantly

I never noticed, but I can't remember the last time I took a heavy duty pain killer

No but they make me nauseous. Well, Vicodin does, Percoset is so good that I would never take it for anything other than the very worst pain.

Yes! Right after my c-section I was super duper itchy everywhere!

I itched after morphine but I think that's the only one.
