7 months PP and I just felt little baby flutters! I'm sure it was gas or my belly settling but it's crazy my mind perceived it as baby kicks. I get that feeling every now and then.
Do the phantom kicks ever stop?

@travellingbee: It's so crazy. My mind says "Oh the baby's kicking!" Then I think "What baby?"

Nope!
I am constantly afraid I'm going to be on that "I didn't know I was pregnant until they baby was coming out of me" shows because of that!

I think I stopped really associating them as baby movement and more as gas/muscle closer to a year PP.

@Mrs. Tiger: lol we are TTC now and I catch myself feeling them and thinking oh maybe I'm pregnant! Cuz that makes sense. Like I wouldn't have noticed I'm far enough along to feel the baby!

@sorrycharlie: yep that's my thought process too. I used to think it felt like phantom kicks and after some Google'ing I realized that your uterus and guts are more sensitive now so you feel gas more than you could before

Wow, I thought I was the only one with this! LO will be a year in a few weeks and I still feel these every so often.

I am so happy to hear other people experience this...I was beginning to wonder about myself! LO is 10.5 months and I still get them!

@Mae: Ditto. I never felt them.
Being me, I would probably e-mail my doctor just to make sure they are normal.

After my first baby, they were really real-feeling to the point I took a couple of tests! They lasted until I got pregnant again at 13 mos pp. This time, I have only felt a couple at 7 mos pp. No idea why it's different!
