We've got a family wedding this summer and I'm trying to get away with not buying the baby a new dress.

It’s a hard call on the colors of your dress and the purple one, but I’ll be honest (and maybe I’m the minority and you should ignore my “advice”): I have never looked at a family and thought whether they “match” or not, unless they are all wearing the exact same color, which I think is weird and so it stands out to me. So, I say wear what you have and what you want!
We’ve only been to 1 wedding with LO and we didn’t match: my husband wore a black suit, I wore a red cocktail dress and LO wore a lavender and white eyelet-lace dress. I never even thought about trying for us to match! D’oh!

@Mamaof2: true! I actually have a mod polka dot yellow dress that would be perfectly fine for my older daughter. But I just *know* she will love the sparkley gold"tutu" dress! She will love dancing in that. And it's only $17 from Target...

I love the navy and gold one together, but I don't think the pink one matches. They're all pretty though!

I think they look nice together. Although I agree with PP's that I've never really looked at a family and thought "damn they are so well coordinated!".

I see the "pink" one as more of a taupe/tan/maybe light blush color and in that case thinks it goes with the navy dress, but I do not think the gold one goes at all. I guess I'm the only one that thinks that though
I also do not think a family needs to match.

@regberadaisy: I don't think they clash necessarily but I agree with others that the Taupe one stands out a little more. Is that one you already have?

@winniebee: yup that's the one I already have in a 6-12 which I'm not even 100% positive it will still fit A come August. LOL I don't have anything appropriate in a 12-18m for her. So it's entirely possible I might end up buying her a new dress anyway!
