I made a zippered PUL wet bag to use as our diaper pail for cloth diapering. Assuming it gets washed every 24/48 hours, does it work to contain the stinkiness? DH was skeptical.

It limits it but it will not contain the smell if it is an extra smelly poop.

I use planetwise bags and they do a great job of containing the smell, even the gross poopy diapers.

We only use the zippered wet bag for diapers we've sprayed off, but it seems to do a great job of containing the stink.

Mine have worked great for the past 7 months. I usually dump them every 2-3 days and wash them weekly. Typically I will take poopy diapers to the outdoor trash, but my husband uses the bags for everything. We do use disposable diapers if that makes any difference.
