We have showered with him since his stump fell off. I put him on a towel and now he runs around.

Never have and honestly I don't have a desire too. Showering is my time to myself.

She is 6 months and we still use a the infant sling in her tub. But going to stop soon but I still don't see me getting in the tub with her. Especially since I am solo parenting during the week so I couldn't change before getting her dressed and would get the hardwoods all wet.

Oh, I still take showers for myself in the morning . . . I just get half undressed to hang out with LO in the tub.

I do exactly the same as @Mslipgloss: Except that "my" first shower is with my older daughter (23 mo) then when Charlie (5 weeks) is ready for her bath (1-2 x's a week) I get 1/2 undressed and hold her in my lap in the bath.

We had bought a puj tub for the older one and quickly realized it was a waste of money when we didn't use it past 1 month!

I've occasionally bathed with her, more now that she's mobile & can just crawl around the tub while I bathe, but not so much when she was little.

DH won't bathe with her, he's worried she might grab something. bahahahaha.

I started taking baths with my daughter when she was an infant, and I still do now at 18 months. We probably do bath together 3-4 days per week on average. I'll probably stop once she can really bathe herself and doesn't need a lot of help with washing anymore. Basically, I hate leaning down over the tub. It hurts my back, so I'd rather just be in the tub with my daughter.

I never thought about taking her in the shower with me! Does water get into their ears then? Right now she still bathes in her baby tub.

I do the same as @mslipgloss. We never bothered buying a baby tub, figured we could do without. We've had him in the shower plenty of times as well.

I'm not sure it has anything to do with me always bathing with him, but his confidence in the water is outstanding. He never cares about water in his eyes or face. He even does little face bobs when playing on his tummy. Preppin' for swimming lessons

@deerylou: I would sell you my water wrap Now she has no desire to do anything other than run around nuts in the water. They are great for at the pool or lake as well. I did a post on showering with a baby. Needless to say, I did it regularly. I did shower seperately if I needed to shave, but other than that I was able to get all my self-cleaning done and clean Lorelei at the same time.
@lolabee: Lorelei is really water-confident, too. Has no fear of getting her face wet or going underwater. I feel like I have to be extra vigilant since she just doesn't seem to get scared at all, but it is nice to see her feel so confident and have so much fun. Maybe there is a correlation!
