No because I work at home.
DH usually brings a sandwich and snacks or left overs. Last week he didn't plan ahead and brought a can of beans. So gross.

I try! Usually end up bringing leftovers. I also keep a stash of Amy's or Kashi frozen lunches to bring in case I can't put anything else together that morning!

I take the makings for salad to work on Monday and eat that all week. Every day or every other day, I bring something else in, like an egg sandwich to eat with my salad.

Always! I often bring leftovers from the night before. If there aren't leftovers then I make a sandwich, salad, "bento" (compilation of veggies, fruit, etc) or whatever. I only get 30 minutes for lunch and I prefer not to spend it driving to get something.

It's the worst when I don't cook dinner so I can't even bring leftover! Womp womp womp. I need to get it together!

I try at least 4 days a week. Usually salad, sandwich, or leftovers.

Everyday! Left overs usually, sometimes microwaveable pasta. I refuse to spend $ on lunch!

I try to cook things like chili or pasta on the weekends & freeze in portions for lunches. I also try to cut up fruits or veggies as soon as I buy them & put them in ziploc bags to pack for lunch. It saves time in the long run & helps us to eat healthier!

I bring leftovers when we have them, otherwise I usually buy something. I'm too lazy, need to get better at planning and packing lunches...

Almost every day. I bring leftovers. We make more dinner so Dh and I have lunch for the next day.

Leftovers, sandwiches, wraps, salads are my staples but I have some quick fixes when we want something different and I have the ingredients.
Thaw a few frozen meatballs on a bun or rolls with sauce and some mozzarella or provalone cheese.
Packets of instant cheese grits with a microwaved black bean patty.
Homemade burrito with frozen black bean patty and fixings (I usually have salsa, sour cream, cheese, lettuce on hand).

I should, but I don't do it regularly at all. It happens once every couple of months or so . . .

My husband packs my lunch. I hate food preparation. If it were up to me I would have to eat fast food everyday. Lol

Almost always I take leftovers to work. Usually we've been cooking a big meal on Sundays and I pack lunch with the leftovers for M-Th and then either go out on Friday or pack another leftover meal from during the week.

@Danizaur: That's awesome and so nice of your husband! I have a couple of friends who are married to chefs. One lady posts pics of their meals almost daily on FB and the food looks like it is prepped for a gourmet cooking show.

@MsLipGloss: I am jelly too! LOL. Meal planning is such a pain. I am not very domesticated by nature. I hate cooking.

I bring lunch almost everyday. Sometimes its leftovers but usually it's a lean cuisine. I will make turkey or peanut butter sandwiches and then bring like a granola bar, yogurt, or some baked chips with it. I will occasionally bring baked potatoes since they're easy to just microwave. I do keep a stash of cup o noodles in my office in case I forget lunch.

I work in a school, so I bring lunch every day! I usually graze during the day, which works well since I'm pregnant. Yogurt, granola, fruit, baby carrots, trail mix, etc. basically snacks all day long!

@MsLipGloss: @Kimberlybee: It is! He loves to cook so he doesn't mind. He also doesn't have any other option for lunch unless he brings something from home, so he just doubles it. Lol

An easy one for me when I don't have leftovers is just to grab some frozen chicken nuggets and throw them in the microwave at lunch time. Works pretty well.

When I worked full time before DS was born, I brought my lunch every day. Now that I'm only working 2 days/week I can't seem to get it together enough ot make lunch. So lame!
wonderful pear / 26210 posts
Nope...I can buy a healthy lunch for less money and effort during the week.
pomegranate / 3160 posts
Ugh, I did SO well for a few months, I brought a lunch almost every day. The last few weeks though I've totally fallen off the wagon and have been leaving work to go grab something. Getting away from work has been awesome, and I really don't do much else (like, seriously, I'm not a shopper, we really don't go to games/movies/events...I pretty much just like food) so I justify the 5-8 buck cost that way. Omnomnom.
wonderful grape / 20453 posts
almost always! It's always leftovers. Once in awhile I buy a salad at work, but they're like $5 and I'm cheap
pomegranate / 3863 posts
Every. Single. Day.
Either a stuffed pepper or some cottage cheese/yogurt/fruit/veggies for me and a sandwich/leftovers for DH!
pear / 1556 posts
I almost always bring my lunch. I think I can count on one hand the times I have bought my lunch since January. I usually bring leftovers, salads, sandwiches, or a frozen meal (lean cuisine, lean pocket w/salad, etc). I also bring some snacks with me: string cheese, yogurt, crackers, rice cakes, etc.
papaya / 10473 posts
My husband packs my lunch... It's usually leftovers. If something we eat for dinner makes for a good leftover lunch, we make extra. I also bring cut up fruit and veggies (we cut up a ton for the week on Sunday afternoons) Greek yogurt, and packets of almonds. We have a Weight Watchers cafeteria at work so sometimes I will buy a lunch though.

Yes, I like sandwiches, salads, and leftovers, with tons of snacks.

Every day! Use to be sandwiches almost every day. Now we've been trying to make leftovers so a lot of chicken sausage or meatballs with brown rice.
GOLD / pineapple / 12662 posts
@Danizaur: Any way you slice it, it's pretty awesome, and a great gig if you can get it! Enjoy!
nectarine / 2932 posts
I just started! I used to go out every day, but needed to cut back - I was wasting so much money! Now I bring leftovers, or salad/fruit 4 days a week, and then go out with co-workers 1 day each week.
kiwi / 538 posts
Always. I don't have time to make anything and it would be so expensive to buy lunch (I work in downtown Chicago). I usually bring a Lean Cuisine or Healthy Choice and Greek yogurt.
coconut / 8861 posts
When I was nursing and pumping, I would buy lunch because of time issues. When I stopped nursing and started WW, I bring in Lean Cuisines, leftovers, fruit, and yogurt.
