At the beginning when I felt like she needed a lot more, I carried both. Now I just carry one (it's been a larger purse lately) with the bare essentials of what she'll need in it unless we're going to be gone for a long time.

I only carry a diaper bag. If I'm not with LO I just have my wallet/clutch.

My purse is big enough to do double duty (prebaby it fit a bottle of wine fer crying out loud). Ithrow in some dipes, a package of travel wipes and a toy & we're all set.

depends where i am going and what i need to bring. though i often do because both can hook onto my mommy hook on the stroller. if i just going out for a short time, i may just bring my wallet and phone and put them in diaper bag.

I use a diaper bag and throw in my makeup necessities bag, a wallet, keys and phone.

I kind of regret getting a diaper bag because so far I rarely use it (LO is almost 5 months). The diaper bag has a ton of little pockets and stuff was getting lost in it. I ended up buying one of these diaper changing kits (link below) and just shoving it in an old Longchamp bag. I find it a lot easier!

When she was younger, I would just carry a diaper bag and use it as my purse. Now that I don't need to haul as much crap around with me everywhere, I just throw a diaper, some wipes and a few toys and snacks in my bag because it's big enough. I usually keep the diaper bag in the car in case I need a backup outfit, more diapers etc.

For the first few months I had a diaper bag and a purse. Then I switched to just a large purse with some diapers in it. Now, at 9 months I'm switching to a diaper bag with a wristlet since I have to carry around toys, bottles, and food.
