We always have, and we will continue to with our LO's. I always enjoyed it when I was younger, and I'm hoping our kiddos will too!
Do you carve pumpkins? If you do not, do you pick pumpkins at all?

I love carving pumpkins! I just HATE the smell of the pumpkin guts! I don't know what it is, but it makes my stomach turn. I have to have DH "gut" my pumpkin haha.
I do try to salvage the seeds and toast them up! It's gross washing them though. Bleghhh!

@wahine08: Haha it's funny you say this. I carved pumpkins with my nephew one year when he was 3 and out of no where he just started gagging and I couldn't figure out why at first but it turns out it was the smell, haha! Must be a common thing

I would carve pumpkins but here in Texas it's too hot and they usually deform and "melt" within a week so it makes it kind of pointless.

We will this year since we have a house. I haven't before since we were in a condo and they weren't allowed in the hallway.
I have to save the seeds to wash and roast. My favorite part of fall!

@Bao: Yes! I've been this way forever! People think it's so weird.. some people actually like the smell of the raw pumpkin which I don't get haha. I like it in a candle.. with cinnamon.. and vanilla!

We haven't the last couple years, but for sure will this year with LO. Even if she's only a year it will be a fun tradition to start (after picking out the pumpkin at the pumpkin patch!) She might just finger paint it though this year.

Will probably start next Halloween!

I love carving pumpkins. I look forward to when DS is old enough to participate.

We started carving pumpkins when we first moved into our house. Last year we didn't have time to carve together so I did it myself last minute on Halloween day. DH is pretty good at carving.

I always try, and I always fail, so last year I gave up and just painted them with my niece and nephew
