I will often not change LO's diaper at night in an effort to keep her more sleepy, but lately I have been changing her if she has a 3rd wake-up because I wonder if her wet diaper is bothering her. We are using Target diapers right now & we haven't had leaks but I do wonder if a more absorbent diaper would be more comfy for her.

I stopped changing diapers overnight (unless there is a poop) at around...5-6 months? We waited that long because she would still have one poop at some point overnight until then.
We used to buy the Babydry diapers and use them for night time, but not we just use Target diapers and they seem to be fine for overnight.

We stopped changing diapers overnight when R began STTN at 12 weeks old. We use Pampers Extra Protection at night. They hold so much more than the Swaddlers do.

Only if there's poop. The baby is still in swaddlers for night and that's fine unless there's leaking. Big brother wears the special ones, but he didn't start leaking until well into toddlerhood.

We stopped when she started STTN, then when she started waking up again, we had to change her, cause she was eating 2-3 times a night. I hated it though cause it woke her back up. Now she STTN and we use an over night diaper.

We change dipes, but it's more because I want to wake her up. She's usually too sleepy to eat a lot, even with changing her dipe.

At this age, only if she poops and wakes up. We use Pampers overnights.

At your LO's age, I would NOT change the diaper because that involved removing the swaddle and the pajamas, and that would cause my son to wake up even more.

We haven't in a long time unless she poops. However, she's been pooping and not letting anybody know about it until the morning, so we're dealing with a ton of rash right now.

DS is in swaddlers and is 7 months old. I quit changing him overnight, and we haven't had any leaks. However, DS wakes up frequently. Now I'm wondering if his wet diapers could be a factor in his constant wake up???? Hm!

DD is 12 months and no, I don't change her overnight anymore...and no leaks! On the advice of some Bees, I put her in a Pampers Extra Protection diaper at night...one size up. And it works GREAT!

We haven't had to since the early months. We've used Baby Dry once before but are 100% cruisers all the time and DS isn't a huge nighttime wetter so they hold up!

I stopped changing diapers overnight at about 6 weeks. We use Pampers Swaddlers. No issues. Now that DD STTN and has a more solids-based diet (she is 13 mo), she is often dry or only slightly wet in the morning. I *really* hope this means she will be an easy/early potter trainer.

Since she tends to sleep 8-12hrs overnight we stopped changing her and use an overnight diaper. If she randomly wakes up and won't go back down we do change her and settle her back down.

No way, we'd be up for an hour each time if we did that! DS hasn't pooped at night (except for 1 anomaly last week) since he was 6 or 7 weeks old. Changing his diaper really wakes him up, plus all the time involved in undressing and re-swaddling. We just use our normal diapers (Pampers Swaddlers Sensitive) and have never had any leaks.

I used to only change when I woke him up to nurse. After I weaned then he just wore Pampers Baby Dry all night long (11-12 hours). Have had leaks but nothing to make me switch.

I don't change diapers at night. We use cloth but we also use Target and Pampers Swaddlers overnight when we are out of town.

We use Costco/Kirkland diapers, and I only change her if she wakes up and has pooped. Wet diapers don't seem to bother her.

We use Target diapers during the day and Pampers Cruisers during the night. I don't think the Target diapers would hold up during the night, but don't mind them during the day. I stopped changing my son during the night very early on, once he slept through the night and didn't have any more feedings during the night. I think around 6 weeks or so.

We also use target diapers. If DD gets an extra bottle we change her.

Thanks everybody! I looked for Pampers Extra Protection today but they started at size 3. There were Pampers Baby Dry - how are those different?

We stopped at around 6 weeks for both. DD is almost 16 weeks and she's just in regular Target brand diapers and we haven't had any problems/leaks.

I did when she was a newborn and not gaining properly, just because it woke her up enough to eat.
She stopped pooping at night at probably 4 months? And then I stopped changing her diaper at night too.
