Should I just buy a Sunday paper or are there good websites? Any tips would be great!

P&G Brand saver is a great website.
I only coupon a little, I'm trying to do it more now that we're saving for a possible baby.

I occasionally coupon... I use the ones in the Sunday paper, coupons.com and if there's something I want (ie feminine products) I go to their website and look to see if they have any coupons on their site. Another great recommendation is to go to target.com and print their coupons. They also allow you to stack a manufacturer coupon with a target store coupon. :)) But I suck at cutting them out therefore I don't use them that often. I need to get back on it!

Yes, Sunday newspaper... look for deals online because I was able to get the LA Times Sunday newspaper for an entire year for $10 with a code.

Yes!! Do it! Couponing is awesome! The first few weeks you're going to miss a lot of the deals because you won't have a lot of the coupons from previous papers, but you'll get there! I love hip2save.com for deals. She posts the matchups for the week on Saturday so you can see what's coming up. One paper won't really be enough for most great deals though. Maybe ask family or neighbors of they will give you the coupon sections when they're done. I like to keep them whole & write the date on the front so I can easily find the section when I see a deal I want. It'll take a while at first, but you'll get more efficient as you do it. Also you can download some apps for coupons on your phone, or sign up for mobile coupons from places like target, stack those with manufactures coupons & you get some great deals!

sunday newspaper! couponmom.com is where I started.
basically all I do is I clip the coupons for what I know I would buy and put them in a binder (with those clear business card sleeve pages). Then I go through the grocery store and CVS circulars and see what's on sale. If something is on sale and I have a coupon, I put the coupon in a separate envelope and that envelope serves as my shopping list.
If I have time, I will bring the entire binder to the store because sometimes there are unadvertised sales.
For CVS, I only buy if it's on sale + coupon + extra bucks! That's where you can get stuff for free!

I don't really want to spend the time matching and working at it, so I just clip the ones for things I know we'll buy from the Sunday paper. I have a little coupon book that I keep in my purse, because I found myself stopping on the way home a lot (and not using the coupons!)
Even without much effort, we save $5-10/week on basics, especially Target things (toothpaste, toilet paper, etc). It's worth minimal effort for that

Ideally you need the Sunday paper but a website that matches to coupons is great.
I use SouthernSavers.

subscribing to this one!
I never use grocery store coupons because I never have them but I definitely coupon at mall stores, online, etc. I never ever buy something at the mall or online without a coupon because I know there is one that exists for just about everything.

No, I don't at all, I really should though...
I usually remember to grab my "coupons," then realize once I get to the store that my 2 or 3 "coupons" that are supposed to save me money at, and figure out that I end up spending more on things I don't need (save a dollar on 3 tubes of toothpaste...) than if I just buy the one thing I DO need. Sigh.

@ms.janedoe: I've found this too. Or that a generic brand is still cheaper, even after a coupon, than a brand-name item.
We don't coupon. We don't eat a lot of prepackaged type foods which is what I see most coupons for.

We've been starting, but I feel like the products I want are the ones never on sale!

You can stack (a manufacturer coupon and a store's coupon) at target and BJs!
