Yeah, I get miserable. Like, really, really, down in the dumps miserable. I am so uncomfortable with my body right now.

Ugh. I'm still pregnant, hugely so at the moment, and looking back at pre-preg pictures makes me want to cry! I just keep telling myself that it's more motivation to work hard once LO arrives. Not much longer now...

I want to cry! I still look young, but I want my old body back pronto. I had to go through all of my old clothes and donate some to my younger sister (even some good Anthropologie pieces). It made me so sad to know that I will never fit into my favorite clothes again.

heh. yes. moreso a year or two before I got pregnant. I was having serious weight issues in the months before getting pregnant. I finally cracked down and started losing weight, I lost a little over 10 lbs before getting pregnant. I'm so glad I did.

Yeah, I'm right there too. I've never been out of shape or even slightly overweight, so adjusting to a post-baby body is really difficult for me. I miss being in shape and hate the way about 90% of clothes look on me now. I'm 10 weeks pp and am really trying hard to get my old shape back. Like @Rubies, I'm just so uncomfortable with my body right now. Everyone says not to worry about it and that's it all worth it to have a precious baby, which I agree with, but it doesn't make it any easier to accept my current shape.

Yes! Especially since i definitely did not appreciate how thin and fit I was

The weight doesn't bother me so much, it is my mommy body right? (I still have about ten pounds to go for my pre-first born weight) But the looking younger thing, I completely miss that! It is amazing what so many sleepless nights can do to a person!

YES! I really didn't appreciate how I looked before. I am 4 weeks post-partum and went and bought what I hope will be my "fat" jeans in the future today...I just can't stand wearing my maternity clothes any more which I just feel accentuate my "leftovers" as my DH's grandfather put it the other day

@Ree723: I agree with everything you said. I've never dieted before, or even had to restrict my eating, and it's really hard for me to do. I feel like I'm working hard but I don't see much improvement, and I have cried in the dressing room when I went shopping for new clothes because I felt like nothing fit right. I miss my old body.

Yep, big time. I have always been really slight and put loads of weight on in this pregnancy. When people tell me I don't look prego from behind I want to smack them - this is NOT my ass!!!

Yep. Every time I find a picture of myself in a bikini from the old days, I want to slap myself in the face for thinking I was fat back then.
