@mrskc: exactly the same situation. I kinda lie.. Or don't tell the whole truth. If asked if he sleeps through the night I say no, he wakes up sometimes. Few people know we cosleep... I hate when people ask. I feel judged too. Mostly because I cosleep only because his sleep was so terrible and I felt like I had no other choice. I don't love cosleeping but it is where we are at now.

@mrskc: Yes, but only because they would *always* follow it up with suggestions to improve her sleep. Uhhh, yeah, it required *surgery* for LO to be able to sleep at night . . . after that, people finally shut up!

I get so annoyed! He's only 6 weeks old and people always ask me if he's STTN. We have a particular neighbor couple who ask me every time we see them, which is a couple times a week. We cosleep too, so I just say 'We're getting enough rest' and hope they drop it.

I don't really like it! My LO is 18 months and she has been STTN since she was 8 weeks. People ask me this question and they always tell me she will regress soon...just you wait.

People were asking me how LO 2 was sleeping when she was a week old...um, crappy?!?

I tell them we co-bed. My LO is only going to want to snuggle with me for such a tiny piece of his life and I'm going to soak up every moment. I don't give them any room to talk.

@mrskc: just lie. Seriously...give them a generic, "it's fine".
I hate the 1000 questions people ask, but they do it out of habit.

People and their questions... I can't believe how many people have asked me if M is a "good baby". As the mom of a very high-needs 9 month old, how am I supposed to answer that? Ugh.

I find it annoying and don't get why people care. I'd lie if I were you! I usually just say that we're both sleeping fine.

Yes, it does bother me but only when it's coming from people whom I feel judged by. And that it's the first question. I just don't really understand why it matters? It doesn't affect their life. I guess it all boils down to the tone questions are asked and how suggestions are offered. I secretly wish I had the balls to just say we co-bed and feel confident rather than feeling like I always have to be defending myself. That said, since we tend to march to the beat of our own drum (in comparison to some close to us) I'll probably feel this way for a long time.

It doesn't bother me. My mommy friends and I ask each other this all the time, along with any new milestones, etc.
