We are pretty good about cooking at home but since LO was born 5 weeks ago we pick up or do take out a lot . I'm sure as he gets older meal prep won't seem so daunting but right now it's just so much easier to eat something someone else prepared !

Wayyyyyyy less.
I drink lots of coffee and eat one meal a day. I feel so busy and frazzled!

We got a lot of take out when LO was really young but now that she's on a more regular sleep schedule I try to cook most days. We're trying to get healthy, and eating out makes it hard for us to do that!

We eat out waaayyyy to much during pregnancy, so I was really hoping that this would decrease when the babies arrive. We'll see, but I could see how take out could be way, way tempting. I've been trying to freeze some food to avoid some of the temptation to eat out all the time.

We do lots of pickup and delivery! A lot of times it's just as cheap as going to the grocery and cooking.. We can pick up Bonefish for example for like $35 and have a great meal where we both have seafood...And if I were to go buy the same thing to cook it would cost more! I bought sea bass at Whole Foods last weekend and it was $24.99 a lb! The piece I got my husband was over 1lb!

We've been eating out more since we found out we were pregnant. I just don't have the time or patience to cook. Plus, I'm changing my mind all the time.

Our eating habits haven't changed! Still meal planning and eating as normal! Bonus were the freezer meals I prepped and that were given to us post-baby! We eat out maybe 1x a month, maybe, lol.

We totally did once our freezer meals ran out and before I was up to cooking. I eased back in cooking one easy meal a week and ramped back up!

We have been doing pick up more since she came. There's just not enough hours in the day! But usually limit to 1x a week.

We did in the first 2 months but after that we eat out way less than we did before we had a baby. We need to save more money now so the eating out budget was cut.

DH works most nights and weekends. I pretty much order delivery at least once a weekend.

More take out, less eating out, but this is up from almost zero pre-LO. The best gifts we got have been take out gift cards to spare ourselves the hassle when cooking is just not in the cards some nights. But once a week is a lot for us.

Nope, DH and I used to eat out a lot, but since A was born, we've been to a restaurant once. We have gotten take out a few times, but no where near as much. We're lucky that our friends have been bringing us food!

Before the kids, we rarely ate out because I really enjoyed cooking and trying new recipes. Now we eat out and order out more (still not a whole lot, maybe 2-3 times a month) for the convenience and variety. It's so nice to not have to cook and clean up!

so far, much less actually. maybe cause I'm home now, I have more time throughout the day to prep for dinner? and I've become nuts about the budget lol

I'm planning on not cooking much for the first 2 or more weeks of LO's life. I've told my mom and MIL that they're gonna have to bring us dinner food and dh that he's gonna have to get take out for a couple weeks. I don't actually mind cooking, but I don't wanna go to the grocery store and get stuff. I don't have much freezer space, so make ahead stuff isn't really doable for us.

I'd definitely say more takeout for us in the first six months with LO. At first, it was because my entire day was focused around feeding and sleeping the baby. I didn't have time for a shower much less food prep when I was on maternity leave.
Now back to work, we're still struggling with cooking, etc. partly because I go to sleep when LO does to handle the late night shift. Once he STTN, this will change and more meals will be made. I have to be super prepared in the morning to be ready for lunch and dinner.

Probably the same as during pregnancy. I loved cooking before pregnancy, then found it disgusting during most of my pregnancy, and now I just have less time to cook. So we still eat out maybe 2-3 times a week.
