I should but I usually don't so I have to hose it down and scrub when I refill it!

Most of the time we forget. Then we have to scrub it down and R is impatient waiting for us to finish and fill it up.

Yes, mainly because we store it in the garage during uses and it's too hard to move when it's filled. And later in the summer any standing water is our enemy - Mosquitos!

I do. It has a drain in the basin so I pull the plug & it drains. Mosquitos are a concern in the summer!
But it gets dirty/moldy easily. There's a raised pattern on the basin and it's a bitch to clean.

@autumnlove: yeah! A little black plug that's flush with the basin. Pop it out & water drains! But like I said, there's a raised pattern so unless I turn it over (which I always forget to do!) it gets yucky.

No, we always forget. We just had a HUGE rain last night so our pool and water table are full. I kind of want to leave that water until it gets slimy since we didn't have to pay for it.

Yes, we also have a drain in ours so I just pull the drain and let it do it's thing while I go inside. We store it outside, under the deck, so if I left it full of water it would turn into pollen-y mud!!

@autumnlove: your's doesn't have a drain? I would have thought that was a standard thing.

@Smurfette: hmmm, maybe it does and I missed it? I'll check later!

Yes, I make dh water the plants after lo is doing playing. If he's busy, I'll just drain it.
I hate Mosquitos so I always make sure to empty it.
