I love it, but it is usually a mission to get DH out of the house for anything related to exercise! We are going on a short hike this afternoon close to our house. I would love to live near to the mountains or coast so I could hike more regularly!

we love to hike! we live in Vermont, so there are mountains & lots of trails in the woods for hiking. Part of our honeymoon was day hikes in the Rockies
My favorite time of year to hike is in the fall- our babe will be about 6 months then, so I am really looking forward to bring him or her along!

We love hiking. We live a few miles off of the Blue Ridge Parkway in NC, so we have a ton of options nearby. We don't take advantage of it as much as we should.

we love to hike - there are a lot of great trails around us... we have a hiking backpack for DD, and we carry DS in the ergo.

yes & yes =) we don't have any giant canyons close by, but we live within an hour of ocean or mountains and lots of pretty places even closer. we aren't intense hikers, more leisurely & often involves a picnic after. it's nice just being outside and slowing down, focusing energy on being in the moment & appreciating beauty in nature

I love to hike and my husband likes it ok. I would love to live in TN or NC to take advantage of the mountain trails. We live in Fl, though, so although there are many trails, it's way too hot most of the year and the bugs (ticks, horseflies, mosquitoes) make a lot of it miserable and not worth it. Plus it's all kinda flat and boring.

Yup we love to hike around. We live in pa so there are some great hiking trails, caves etc. We just went hiking into a cave the other day with our 9 month old lol.

We love hiking. We lived in the Bay area for several years, but we are in the midwest now. DH wants to visit SF so we can take A hiking.

We both love to hike. Sadly, there aren't a lot of options for hiking in our immediate area, as it's quite flat here. My mum lives about 1.5 hours away though and is right next to a conservation area with kilometers upon kilometers of really nice trails (and more topographical variation than here).
We did a week of day-hiking in Algonquin Park last summer (would have been better if it hadn't been during the week when my m/s was the worst), but I think our favourite hiking destination so far has been Acadia National Park in ME. We also want to do a bunch of the US National Parks out west....especially Glacier, Zion and Yosemite.

Yes! Hiking was one of our first dates, we both love it! Unfortunately Phoenix has so much dang urban sprawl that it takes some time to get to unpopulated areas. Or it's too hot to enjoy, or on the nice days- super crowded and hard to find parking. Our goal when we relocate again is to be closer to more hiking.

@hergreenapples: ahh Maine is so beautiful... I didn't make it to Acadia though. I'd love to go to Zion and Yellowstone. We went to Yosemite last year and it was stunning!

I love hiking but haven't gotten to do it in forever because of LO. It's a shame, since we're in an awesome place for it, just minutes from the Smokies.

Yes! We live near a ton of hiking trails. There are a lot of open space preserves near us so its easy for us to get out hiking with the baby.

I love to hike. We live like 5 minutes away from Gatineau park. Can't wait to go this summer.
