I do not. I hope I can enjoy my LO's party today...the already RSVPed regrets are rolling in!

I do but unfortunately our place isn't very big....and our "friends" complain we're too far, even though we drive out to see them all the time.

@babycanuck: yup, my friends whine a lot too.

@autumnlove: I stopped making an effort with those who aren't willing to do the same. At this point in my life, I'd rather have a few really good people in my life I can rely than, than a ton of people who will never really be there for me.

I do but only if the group invited aren't awkward around each other. For example, I do not like mixing DH's unfiltered, anti-social family with my friends and family.

I LOVE hosting, but I would much rather host small dinner parties with well thought out details and menu than a big party with people I felt obligated to invite (still bitter over Lo's party where we HAD to invite 50/60 people and only 30/40 showed). Haha (:
@autumnlove: yay for Lo's party! I'm sure it will be awesome!

@hellocupcake: This has inspired me to have a small dinner party at my place. Now to figure out who exactly to invite!

I do love hosting, but decided it sucks with a toddler. It's nearly impossible to host well when you're kid is constantly convincing someone to open the back door, then running down the street. I know this from recent experience.

It depends on the people and situation. Sometimes it's fun, sometimes not!

I love hosting!
We hosted 4 times in the last 2 weeks and its the best -- even though I have been doing dishes nonstop.
