All the time! Not to play with it but just in case...I don't know, what if something happened to me in the bathroom? Paranoid!

@Rubies: Same here! Especially when I'm alone in the apartment. I also have an addiction to my solitaire game on my phone.

I never go anywhere without my phone- it's like an extension of my arm! And I play solitaire all the time like @mrsjazz

I do! I read that phones are super dirty and nasty so I make sure to disinfect mine daily!

@Rubies: @mrsjazz: @Andrea: Yep! I keep my phone with me all the time when I'm home alone with LO! I always picture myself falling down the stairs and needing to call for help or something

ALL THE TIME. Although I try not to let people (like at work) see that I do.
But you know what, it's saved me because our bathroom door at home is wacky and sometimes it closes and you can't get it open! The other day I was yelling for my husband but he didn't hear me so I called him and he came to jimmy open the door with a credit card. Yeah, it was a pretty awesome situation. Glad it didn't happen when we were first dating, that's for sure.

Not since the day I put it in my cardigan pocket, went to the bathroom, then when I stood up and bent over to flush, the phone slipped out and landed in the toilet. The full toilet. The full of my own pee toilet. And then, of course, my phone was dead. I NEVER bring my phone into the bathroom anymore. I rarely even bring it into the kitchen. No room with water. Or pee.

I take it in with me but not to play with. I use it as a clock in the morning when I'm getting ready and I like having it in there in case something happens especially now that I'm pregnant. If I slip and fall I want to be able to call for help. I am, however, paranoid about it falling into the bathtub or the toilet so I always place it away from water.

I do to check FB and play Words with Friends... not if I'm going #1, though. Just when I know I'll be sitting there with some time on my hands.

Yes, it's great entertainment when you might be in there for a few minutes.

Gross! I'm not addicted to my phone though (I don't have a smart phone). I have brought it into the bathroom before, but only when I'm doing my makeup/hair and expecting a call. And if I get a call, I leave the bathroom.

@chopsuey119: Me too! I disinfect EVERYTHING daily! I use the wipes in hotels, public bathrooms, restaurants, airplanes, you name it!! spinoff!!
I do take my phone in the bathroom...& once I dropped my phone in the toilet at a bar in college (ew!) spinoff again lol

I'm fine with y'all doing that if you're just surfing the web or playing games (although I would hope you would wipe your phone down later!). The bathroom (public restrooms especially) is not the place for phone calls. Anything you have to say can wait until you're done, IMO.

Yes, I do but I don't make calls on it because that's just weird. I do text, play games and listen to voicemail. I do silent phone stuff. Haha
