my friend just posted on fb about her upcoming long-ish flight for work purposes --- she gets to fly without her LO!
last time i flew cross country (11 month old LO + 22 wk pregnant belly + no dh), i daydreamed the whole flight long about what it would be like to nap on a plane, watch a movie on a plane, eat my own snacks on a plane, go to the bathroom on my own, etc. hahah

I like to travel and have traveled extensively, especially in the past 12 months (almost 75,000 air miles)
I am now 8w5d pregnant and am planning to stay grounded for awhile after that except for the occasional business trip. My husband and I plan to stick to driving vacations until we really get sick of hanging around this area. I just don't feel the need to torture myself by traveling with a baby.

I definitely had this realization after flying cross country with our 6.5 month old earlier this month 
DH travels for work all the time .... if only teachers were sent on business trips
