We usually don't, but we have some good friends that we have regular playdates with and sometimes we will crack open a bottle of wine to share together. When we do that, we usually all eat dinner together so I feel like it all balances out.
Do you ever drink wine during a playdate?

We don't really have playdates yet, but we will go hang out with our friends who have babies our LO's age and we will have some wine/beer sometimes.

My best friend lives just around the corner so if we get the babies together (J is 7mo her DD is 11mo) it's usually a "mama night" and we'll order chinese and have a bottle of wine, daddy always picks up the baby though, I promise!

@yoursilverlining: Ditto! I'm in the middle of 6 week growth spurt & my Ped says a glass of wine helps with letdown, so bring it on!!!

I don't drink so, no for me. But, I wouldn't mind if a friend had a glass or 2 of wine while we had the kids together. No biggie as long as she wasn't driving home or anything.

I've had a glass or a couple dark beers, right after feeding LO then wait several hours to nurse again. The mommies I know would do the same or agree it's ok in moderation, and not WHILE nursing.

I mean yesterday. We shared some wine and caught up. Our babies aren't at the age yet to socialize, so we make up for it!
