I am really missing my baby today...tempted to visit her at lunch time to nurse her. But I don't want to disrupt daycare and naptimes, etc. Have you ever done this?

I drop my little guy off after morning nap, so it's at a random time each morning and they don't mind at all. However, some of my friends have "do not disturb" hours when the LOs are napping. Can you give them a quick call to make sure it's an ok time right now?
I think it's a great idea though, anything to avoid a session with the pump!

I will probably do this when I have the baby! Our daycare is only 5 minutes from my work, so it will be nice to have some time with my babe!

I have dropped in before. Sometimes I call ahead to see if she's sleeping but sometimes I will just go get her early if I'm home from work.

I workd in the building, so I often look through the door and see what she's doing, then go in for a quick minute.LOL (the doors are glass.LOL)

No, she will just think it is time to leave and then cry! I am not that close to daycare so it isn't feasible time wise anyhow.

I didn't drop in until I was emotionally ready. I didn't want to go and be a mess having to leave without her. I do periodically drop in during my lunch. She's never been sleeping but if she was I would just leave rather than disturb her.

Don't they usually have a schedule so you know when naptime is?
I totally plan on dropping in unannounced to just check on things!

I originally came by every day for at least one nursing. As he's gotten older and dropped sessions, I still go once a day. When we dropped in at an actual center, I did the same thing. I saw him twice. Your daycare should have an open door policy and if they don't, that would be a huge red flag. I loved seeing my little man every day. And I hated the pump so one less pumping made me very happy.
