I guess being on a TTC board every day doesn't help...But I really really like you ladies.

I want to shut my brain off, especially this week until Thursday when Hubs goes for his SA, then I'll be in a better place. Even if it's not him, it means I can start doing something. Today was brutal at work. I couldn't stop thinking about TTC and I tried to stay off the boards with no luck. Damn you, brain. Damn you.

@babycanuck:
I'm so sorry to hear that you are struggling. How long will it take to get the SA results?
I find myself to be really annoying today. And how do I go about escaping myself? Seems to be rather difficult. ;P

Sometimes I feel like TTC can bring out the best and worst in people. Kind of like any major life event, hm?

@HolisticMama: No idea, I plan on calling my doctor as soon as he's finished at the lab lol. I just need to keep myself preoccupied.

Oh..absolutely I feel this way. I didnt use opks this month and it has helped. But, things always come up and remind me. I'm not really happy with the person ive become through all this. I feel like ive always been a really positive person, and that ive just become a whiner that focuses on the negative when I have so many positives to be thankful for

yes, but otherwise i would have spent nearly 3 years in a very dark place. i've certainly gone to that sad, dark place, but i'm so grateful for the journey i've shared with mr. bird during that time & i know that once i meet our birdie baby someday, they will be worth the wait. we also have had a lot of crap happen during our TTC journey that has distracted me.
do you use guided meditations at all? they can be so helpful in clearing all the BS clogging up your mind & heart & really refocus you on the present moment

@owlteach: Aww. I'm so sorry to hear this. How long have you been trying? 7 months?
Have you tried to change anything in particular to help you become more positive?

@HolisticMama: ive started getting monthly massages and going out with the girls once a week. DH works nights and I work a lot too, so I used to savor the quiet time at home...but now I tend to wallow, so the going out is good ive also made it a point of getting workouts in a 3-4 days a week...nothing crazy just a long walk with the dogs or 45 minutes on the elliptical. Its all helped
Its still just hard, but you all get that.

@mrs. bird: tell me more about these guided meditations. Dh totally doents get why this is so hard for me, but it has shown me how wonderfully kind and giving he is.

Feb. will be the first non-medicated cycle for us in seven months! I hope that will cut back how much I'm thinking about TTC stuff b/c I need a little breather.

@HolisticMama: I totally agree with it bringing out both the best and worst.
@mrs. bird: We've had a rough go of it lately, too. As much as I knew I loved that man, it has somehow brought us even closer together.
The only times I am not thinking about TTC is CD5-8.
Because that is after my period stops, but before I need to start paying attention to signs of ovulation or the TWW.
