Charlie's a pretty heavy sleeper, so I just picked him up and moved him so that I could get him under his cover. It's cold out and he was sleeping on top of his cover! Man he sure loves to kick off his cover while he's sleeping!!
I love how no matter how much we manhandle him at night, he generally stays asleep!! Of course, now I've probably jinxed it!
Do you ever pick up your sleeping child and move them while they're sleeping?

All the time. Every time I get up at night she turns sideways with her head next to DH and her body stretched across my side of the bed.

No, we reallllllllly try not to, 9 times out of 10 we end up waking him up if we try that.

No. Not if I can help it! When she ends up in bed with us, she has the tendency to keep turning until I am hanging on for dear life to the edge of the bed. But I'll wait as long as I can before I try to reposition her. If she's in her crib or the carseat? No way.

Nope. He has always woken up if we do that. If he kicks his covers off he can wake up and get them on himself if he's cold.

Yup. When I got home from work last night his legs were sticking out the side of his crib- I picked him up- gave him a kiss on re forehead and adjusted his positioning.

Nope. Although, I did once while we were on vaca. We had an early flight so I picked DS up from the bed and put him in his carseat. He didn't wake up at all! I was so surprised!!

Yep- either car transfers, or at night when he needs to be adjusted into a better position.

Yes, especially if he ever falls off his floor bed! I just can't let him sleep on the floor, ha! Luckily he doesn't mess around at night and goes right back to sleep.

Only if I'm transferring her from the car seat to the crib. She wakes up any other time.

Heck no! It is a guaranteed wake up.
If he falls asleep in the car and I bring him in the house it always wakes him up, so I've never tried moving him in his crib. Not worth the risk. Unless of course he was at risk of being hurt, then I'd move him.

For some reason though, at night I can manhandle Charlie and he sleeps right through it! Haha he probably got his sleepiness from his dad!! I sleep through most everything...

Not since she was an infant- too scared she'll wake up! I still tiptoe outside of her room and she has a white noise machine on, lol.

NO, but he's a super light sleeper. I can sometimes sneak in and put a blanket on him, but even the door opening will wake him up. Got that from me, unfortunately...D's a super heavy sleeper.

No! I can barely walk into his room without him waking up! The very rare time I will have to wake him from a deep sleep, otherwise he is wide eyed at the door creaking!

Not if its at all avoidable! Only is he falls asleep in the carseat and I have to. He will wake up and be inconsolable and it seems to disrupt his sleep for the rest of the night at times.

Yes, but only if she is close to hitting her head on the side of the crib. She sleeps through it.
